A Prayer For Freedom
This book is an ongoing project that compiles twenty-three years of
my photography and writing into one body of work, which is something
that I've always wanted to do but never seemed to have the time to make
a reality. This year it is one of my goals to have the book finished by
the end of 1998. The impetus for it was to have something to pass
along to my two-year-old daughter. By the time she reaches adulthood
in a couple of decades, she might not have a clear understanding of
how much photojournalism and newspapers mean to her old
father. Hopefully, this book will enlighten her. Working on it
has brought back many great memories, and designing the
presentation of my own photographs is a challenge.
